XManager Beta

Homebrew developer xerpi has released XManager Beta, It is a handy file browser that has many different features not commonly available on your PSP.

Some of the features of XManager includes: media player, image viewer, ability to move, delete, copy, rename files from our Memory Stick, and the ability to extract data archives (zip) straight from your PSP.

Developer's note:

Many of us yearn to have total control over the files located in our Memory Stick, the downside of life, is that since the PSP, we can only remove certain types of files, and nothing more, so required a PC, to manage the various files of our Memory Stick.

XManager PSP is a file browser, which gives us many interesting features, which are not integrated with the PSP, such as:

• Windows Media Player.
• Move files.
• Delete files.
• Copy files.
• Rename files.
• Extract compressed files in zip format.

PRXShot v0.1.2. Takescreen shots on 6.xx HEN/CFW

Its another screenshot plug-in for your PSP. This screenshot plugin that doesn't need to pause the game to take the capture (useful for avoid lag disconnects on online/adhoc gaming) and classifies the images per game using their name and icons (just like the very few games that come with native screenshot support).

The plugin stores the screenshot in BMP format inside:

for homebrew or games in PBP format (because the homebrews have the same GAME_ID ¬_¬).

Installation:
Copy the prxshot directory to the seplugins directory (or anywhere you want) and add the plugin to the game.txt file (and/or vsh.txt if you want to).

The prxshot directory comes with these files:

• prxshot.prx: the plugin
• default_icon0.png: optional default icon to use for those homebrews without icon (you can make your own image, just try to maintain the same dimensions)
• xmb.sfo: template to make folder icon for screenshots in VSH mode.

The plugin by default tries to use the PIC1.PNG file too (the background image that appears when the game is selected in the xmb menu) for the screenshot folder but you can force the plugin to omit the image by creating a empty file named prxshot_nopic1.txt in the same directory of the plugin (some games/homebrews have heavy images for background that take some seconds to load and probably you dont want that additional MS activity).

How to use it: press the NOTE button to take a screenshot.

I made the plugin open sourced because its a pain when the plugins stop working in a CFW revision and one cant do anything about it except to apply reverse engineering to the code to try to fix it.

Seplugins Manager lets you enable, disable or edit plug-ins with ease. All on the go, no more having to edit the seplugin text files to disable a conflicting plug-in. Just fire this up no PC/Mac needed.

Virtuous Flame (aka Liquidzigong) releases his 6.20 TN-D Permanent Patch, an awsome tool that allows your unit to permanently stay on 6.20 TN-D.

Developer's note (translated):

This tool is made to verify kgsws made vshmain camouflage law.

kgsws proposed a method, through camouflaged vshmain, and to start automatically enabled HEN.

ZeroRCO Patcher v0.2

 

PSP coder NightStar3 just released a new version of ZeroRCO Patcher, a handy plugin that now works on firmware 6.20, 6.31, and 6.35 and allows users to load custom gameboots and modified rco files from the PSP memory stick without touching the flash.
Developer's note:


How does it work:
The plugin will check to see which files are in ms0:/seplugins/RCO/ and if the file is there and called upon in flash, the one from the memory stick will be loaded. If not, it will load the original one from flash.
(Gameboots are loaded from the same directory)

This is made to prevent bricks when using custom resources or a custom gameboot(this does not touch your flash).

Extra notes:
In order to insure that everything works as planned, be sure to use RCO's modified from the firmware you are using, or you might experience some problems with some files.

This version works on 6.20, 6.31, and 6.35.

Almost every RCO is supported with this version. Feel free to report any bugs.

Enabling it:
You can enable it like any other plugin.

Make sure to open up ms0:/seplugins/vsh.txt and ms0:/seplugins/game.txt and type in and save "ms0:/seplugins/zerorco_patcher.prx 1" (for the PSP GO, change ms0 to ef0)

Be sure to restart your VSH after enabling it.

How to Install 6.20 TN-D / TN-D

Total_Noob’s has just released 6.20 TN HEN. This release comes with a few new features like, PSX support (PSN and converted titles) and Action Reply cheat code support. You can also resume PSX games on the PSP Go. 

How to Install:

1. Download the rar file and extract

2.Copy the PSP folder on to your PSP memory card

3. turn on psp and click on " TN Homebrew Enabler"

4 Enjoy!

Sepulka v0.7c

C4TurD4Y's Sepulka, a selective plugin loader for your homebrewed PSP. The latest update includes a small update fixing problems with paths: Now they can be used as standard parameters."

Developer's note:

Sepulka is a selective plugin loader. What does it mean? It's able to load plugin only for specified game, no more f*cking with Recovery Menu to enable cheat device for GTA, no more manually enabling m33_620 plugin only for InviZimals and no more wasting time. If Sepulka is properly configured, you won't need launch RM or even VSH Menu for a long time. Why did i mention VSH Menu? Because Sepulka can also automatically change ISO Driver and CPU speed.

Current features of the app:

• Loading plugins only for specified games.
• To describe games u can use id, name (great for noobs) and path (even incomplete!).
• Macrofire is supported (no 0x8003021 errors).
• Boot screen displaying status (if no plugins were loaded - it won't appear).
• Automatically changing ISO driver.
• Automatically changing CPU speed.
• You are able to define custom macros (u can use acronyms for games, ie. u can write "GTA:CW" instead of "Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars".
• Last played game (backup or homebrew) is automatically moved at the first place in the XMB.
• You can disable bootscreen, logging to file and autosort feautures.
• You can place Sepulka on internal memory of PSPgo (ef0:).
